| This weekend, 13 members from the Monongah, Farmington, and Mannington fire departments completed 30 hours of Swift Water Rescue Technician training.
Chief Kevin Abbott, Deputy Chief Slagle, and Firefighters Metts and Young represented the Monongah Fire Department and are now certified Swift Water Rescue Technicians.
“Our goal is to ensure that when tragedy strikes on the water in Marion County or the surrounding areas, trained personnel are ready to respond and safely rescue those in danger.”
Congratulations to all 13 members for completing this demanding training and strengthening swift-water rescue capabilities throughout our area! |
